We absolutely loved the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings at Shanuo Beach Bungalows. the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and helped us organize activities. the newly renovated bathroom in our cute room was a great addition. the daily delicious breakfast was a delightful way to start our day.

During our recent stay, we were captivated by the stunning location and breathtaking views at Shanuo Beach Bungalows. Waking up to the vibrant colors of the sea right outside our window was an absolute pleasure. The rooms were comfortable, tranquil, and ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The breakfast served on the terrace was a delightful experience, with three delicious options to choose from, including natural juice, coffee, and tea. We also appreciated the proximity to fantastic restaurants, some of which had swimming pools accessible during low tide. The famous "The Rock" restaurant just steps away was a highlight. Additionally, the owner, Gillian, provided exceptional care and made us feel right at home. The daily cleaning and mosquito prevention measures were greatly appreciated.

We loved the direct access to the beautiful beach with clean sand and comfortable sunbeds. the staff was helpful, polite, and always had a smile on their faces. the breakfast served on our veranda each morning was simple but tasty. the view from our balcony was amazing. the hotel also provided free wifi with a strong signal throughout the property. a cozy and welcoming place with a great location.

Stunning location with beautiful beach views and nearby attractions, including the famous restaurant on a rock. The owner, Jillian, provided excellent assistance and made us feel welcome, even giving us a thoughtful birthday surprise. The garden areas and terrace were lovely, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were comfortable with nice amenities. a fantastic place to stay in Zanzibar.

I got great value for my money at this funky beach hotel. The room was comfortable and the location, right by the beautiful quiet beach, was perfect. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable.

The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety and quantity.

A great place to get sunburned on the white sand while fighting for a sun lounger. Free cooked-to-order breakfast and a roundtrip airport shuffle for the privilege. Oh, and a terrace to sip my overpriced drinks.

Who needs a mosquito net? It's not like mosquitoes exist, right?

As party people, we loved the nearby restaurants and variety of culinary options. the staff organized sightseeing tours and short trips, making our stay even more enjoyable.

the staff at Shanuo Beach Bungalows was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made sure our stay was comfortable. the rooms were clean and cozy, with a beautiful view of the beach and ocean. We enjoyed having breakfast served on our balcony, and the food was delicious. the location of the bungalows is perfect, right on the beach and surrounded by good restaurants. Plus, they offered great excursion options at reasonable prices. Cons: Hard to think of anything 😊.

The location of the hotel was excellent, with a beautiful beach just steps away. The staff were always friendly and polite, providing great service throughout my stay. The free WiFi was a pleasant surprise and worked perfectly, allowing me to stay connected during my weekend getaway.

Premium bedding and free WiFi in all guestrooms made my stay at this beach bungalow an absolute dream. The white sand beach and sun loungers provided the perfect setting to bask in the sun and relax. Just like a scene from a tropical paradise! The bicycle rental service allowed me to explore the nearby points of interest easily. It was like having my own little adventure on two wheels. The private beach area was a hidden gem that made me feel like I had my own exclusive slice of paradise. One morning, as I sat on the balcony of my unit with garden views, enjoying the tranquility and the sound of the waves, I couldn't help but feel like I was in a postcard come to life. The free cooked-to-order breakfast was simply divine. It fueled me up for a day of exploration and indulgence. The terrace provided a breathtaking view of the surroundings. It was the perfect spot to sip on a cold drink and watch the world go by.

Slight issue with noise from the next-door room. Walls separating the rooms could be a bit thicker to improve sound insulation.

Staff provides excellent service, offering late check-out and being helpful with all requests. Wifi works well, with no connection issues. Rooms are small but comfortable, with a fan to keep cool. No mosquito nets, but it wasn't a problem. No on-site restaurant, but drinks are available and breakfast is served on the patio. Great location on a secluded beach, close to restaurants and shops.
